About Isle of Skye
The Isle of Skye is one of the busiest tourist destinations in Scotland so accommodation always books up early here. You may also find that some B&B’s are unwilling to take 1 night bookings unless it fills a gap between other bookings. But Skye is a large island and you should ideally be scheduling no less than 2 nights to get a full appreciation of the varied landscape. Please bear this in mind when looking to stay on Skye.
We have recommended accommodation all over the island and most of it is in rural locations where your nearest neighbour will be a flock of sheep, or a hairy Highland coo.
