Kinloch Rannoch is a small village that sits at the east end of Loch Rannoch. If you were to draw a box around the Scottish mainland and then point to the centre of the box, you would have your finger on top of Kinloch Rannoch.
This land was once the homeland of Clan Donnachaidh who were loyal to the Jacobite cause, but their loyalty cost them dearly and the Clan suffered terrible persecution after Culloden. The region is now sparsely populated but is home to beautiful woodlands, rugged mountain scenery and some lovely quiet country roads.
