Glen Moray is just outside and to the west of Elgin. It is clearly signposted from the A96 in Elgin.
The Glen Moray distillery tour is refreshingly free from the commercialism and PR that you sometimes find with the larger brands. You are likely to be guided on the tour by one of the distillery workers, which is why you are also unlikely to be able to get a translation.
One of the really nice things about this tour is that they are really quite relaxed about the whisky tastings at the end of the tour so, if the guide likes you, you might well be able to sample more than just one "expression" of Glen Moray.
Excellent value for £7 and an easy place to get to from Inverness.
If you are on the A96 heading to or from Inverness, then Glen Moray is an easy distillery to add to your collection as it is not far from the main road.
