Loch Ness Cruises

Overview

Pre-booking is recommended during peak season June - August, as the boat only has a capacity for 12 passengers.

Loch Ness Cruises depart every day from the start of April to the end of October.

Their ticket office (and the pickup point for the bus that takes you to the cruise boat) is just beside the road junction of the A831 / A82 in Drumnadrochit, next to the "Nessieland" centre.

Each cruise lasts approximately one hour and takes you past the iconic ruins of Urquhart Castle. The cruise boat is fitted with modern surveillance and safety equipment, as well as an innovative colour sonar system that helps you to visualise what is going on in the loch's murky depths.

There are lots of options for cruising on Loch Ness, but we rate this as one of the best and most informative.

If you can, it is wise to pre-book your cruise slot as Loch Ness is a busy attraction in Summer and the number of passengers per cruise is restricted to 12 so that the boat is not over-crowded. Visit their website for easy Online Booking.
